Demon's Souls - Valley of Defilement

The Depraved Chasm is a haven for the used and forgotten. Its inhabitants, afflicted by poison and plague, await their deaths in this forsaken place. This world was notoriously difficult to play through, and our aim was to make the environment look every bit as threatening. Mud and muck cake every inch of this terrible place, and fungus and decay are commonplace. I had the pleasure of working closely with Arvin Villapando, Myriah Higgins, Ben House, and a multitude of other artists to bring this terrible place to life. This world turned out to be an amalgamation of all of the most disgusting things we could collectively conspire to create.
